Is it possible to make online training as engaging as traditional offline training? Is it possible to keep the participants' attention for three hours and achieve concrete results: to develop skills, change attitudes, and create motivation?
These questions were asked by media trainers and journalists from Kazakhstan. Thanks to the MediaNet organization and the support of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, they took part in the training “Engaging Online: The Art of Maximum Interaction”.
The Academy of Ukrainian Press was represented by expert Tetiana Ivanova, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Social Communications at Mariupol State University.
The popularity of online learning is growing rapidly: according to GlobeNewswire, the global e-learning market will reach $457.8 billion by 2026, and 2 out of 5 Fortune 500 companies are already actively using these technologies.
For a trainer, it is important not only to teach but also to engage participants. This means creating an interactive environment, taking into account the latest trends, and using artificial intelligence in training.
Tetiana Ivanova focused the training on these aspects. She used modern tools: Padlet, Mentimeter, Kahoot, Wardwall, Leonardo, Magic School, and Suno. Thanks to them, various methods - games, exercises, case studies, brainstorming sessions, and reflective experiments - have become truly exciting and modern.
We are grateful to our long-time partners from Kazakhstan for the opportunity to develop our joint coaching business together!
