The Academy of Ukrainian Press in partnership with Innovation Technologies and Contents of Education Institute, Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of Ukraine has disseminated (via direct mail) "Media education and media literacy" manual published with the support of the International Renaissance Foundation to all pedagogic universities and continuing education institutions. It is the first manual in Ukraine developed to be used for the respective course at universities and continuing education institutions for high school teachers. The manual’s authors, top Ukrainian and international experts, collected the most advanced techniques in the sphere of training university students in the area of media education, media literacy and media culture. The manuals were also provided for 47 Ukrainian media education professionals - AUP Media Education Schools' alumni - who were intensively trained in 2011-2012 and now they implement media education at pedagogic universities and high schools.
