On December 7, the Day of Local Self-Government was celebrated in Cherkasy. Active youth of the region visited the regional council to get acquainted with their resources and opportunities.
The Academy of Ukrainian Press (AUP) was also invited to the event, namely Yulia Kulyk, project coordinator of the organization.
She talked to young people about modern and digital etiquette and told them how to present themselves to different target audiences.
"Etiquette is not about knives and forks. It is about coexistence with other people. It's about how not to hurt others either with words, looks or appearance," said Yulia.
Here are some questions that AUP left with answers to:
Why is it not worth picking up the phone with the words "hello, hello"?
Why should an adult forget about the word "eat"?
How not to turn your social media account into a keyhole?
Why are voice messages dangerous for your counterpart?
"Self-presentation lasts a lifetime. You must be able to present yourself correctly. After all, the first impression cannot be made twice", - Yuliia also noted.
We sincerely thank the Cherkasy Regional Council for the invitation and the opportunity to be useful. Youth is the future, and the AUP is ready to support students in their formation.
