On May 13-14, 2012 in Zaporizhzhya the Academy of Ukrainian Press (AUP) conducted the seminar “How to Write about the Transition of Ukraine to Digital Broadcasting Format” for journalist and editors of Luhansk, Donetsk, Mykolayv, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhya Oblasts. This training was conducted with financial support from US Embassy in Ukraine.
The goal of this seminar was to provide professional knowledge and skills required for high quality media coverage of Ukraine’s transition to digital broadcasting format.
Seminar participants received information on international experience related to implementation of digital broadcasting, progress of digital broadcasting implementation in Ukraine, discussed information needs of different target audiences and received an opportunity to meet with the leading Ukrainian experts. Seminar participants also discussed their future publications on this topic.
